Need help deciding on a Medicare Plan?

No Cost Medicare Help

How to choose

Choosing a Medicare Plan

Choosing a Medicare Plan isn’t always the easiest thing to do. There are a lot of plans to choose from and not having proper coverage can cost thousands of dollars.

That’s why having a licensed Medicare specialist on your side is so important. We can compare plans for you for free and we will help you find one that offers the most coverage for the best price.

How to Choose a Medicare Plan

When choosing a Medicare plan, it is not something to take lightly. As mentioned above, a gap in coverage can cost thousands of dollars and making a switch outside of open enrollment can cost you more in premium.

Here are some tips to help you decide between plans:

  • Take a look at premium vs. coverage. Would you rather pay for the extra coverage or take a risk and pay lower premiums?
  • If you travel, a Medicare Supplement Plan may work best because it is accepted anywhere Original Medicare is accepted.
  • Ask your doctors if they accept Medicare Advantage or if they only accept Original Medicare.

And, as always, we can help you make an informed decision about your health insurance at no cost to you. Call today to reach a Medicare Specialist in the St. Louis area.

What Medicare Supplement Plan is Best?

If you are trying to decide which Medicare Supplement Plan is best for you, it’s going to come down to a choice between coverage and premium.

Medicare Supplemental Plan F has the highest level of coverage. It pays for all of your cost-sharing on covered services so you have no out-of-pocket expenses.

Medicare Supplemental Plan G is the second-best in terms of coverage. The only thing not covered is that you still pay the Part B deductible once per year.

Then there are eight other supplements with different coverages and premium savings. Remember, you're never alone when choosing a Medicare plan.

Choosing a Medicare Advantage Plan

If you like Medicare Advantage Plans, you can talk with a Medicare specialist from The Medicare Solutions Team to see what is available in your area! They can help you through the process of choosing a Medicare plan. MA plans are able to offer certain benefits that Original Medicare lacks.

Medicare doesn’t cover, such as:

  • Dental coverage
  • Vision coverage
  • Caregiver Counseling and Training
  • Housekeeping
  • Prescription Drug Coverage
